An annual parade of lanterns, made by local children, travelling from Cathedral Square, Worcester to The Hive in celebration of Christmas.

Join us for our annual Lantern Parade.  The Parade will set off from Cathedral Square, Worcester, WR1 2QE at 6pm.  Worcestershire Youth Wind Orchestra will be playing in the Square from 5.30 - 6pm.  Anyone wishing to take part in the Parade should meet at Cathedral Square at no later than 5.45pm.  

Please note: The Parade route from Cathedral Square to The Hive is along pedestrian areas only and will be stewarded, but all children taking part in The Parade must be accompanied by an adult for the entire Parade. 

The Parade will last for about 30 minutes and will be followed by music played by Bewdley Concert Band, singing, and refreshments for the children inside The Hive. 

The Parade marks the start of The Hive's Christmas celebrations with two performances of the Christmas show, Three Billy Goats Gruff and Other Furry Tails, free Victorian Christmas decoration making, singing by Got2Sing choir and Rat-a-tat Tales on Saturday 9 December.  For more information and to book tickets see on the website http://www.thehiveworcester.org/whats-on.html
